Adam and I spent four days of our Italian honeymoon in the Amalfi Coast town of Positano. We stayed at the Bucca di Baco hotel, and our balcony overlooked the Mediterranean Sea. We toured nearby Pompei, Ravella, Amalfi, and the tropical isle of Capri. On Capri, we traveled the famous (or infamous) venicular highway. From there we took a lift up the rest of the mountain for a spectacular view.
Hanging out in Ravella, where famed American novelist Gore Vidal now resides. He was not out at his usual cafe during our visit. The particular cafe he frequents was famously photographed when Jackie Kennedy Onassis came to visit. She and Gore were pseudo-step-siblings (they shared a common step-father at different times in their life).
