We go to see the Celtics play in the Vegas Summer League games at the Thomas & Macks Center at UNLV. Adam is so anxious to get there, we arrive 2 hours early. The doors don't open for another hour and it is hotter than blue blazes outside.
A great view of the Las Vegas strip from the Thomas and Macks Center. Unfortunately, our camera runs out of batteries and there isn't a cab in sight We walk to a nearby convenience store in the scorching heat for more batteries & water.
My second day in Vegas, I still haven't gambled yet. It's a convenience store, there are video poker machines... and I reach a gambling low. Yes, I'm gambling in a convenience store. We head back to Thomas & Macks, go in to see the Celtics play, only to discover that I've lost the camera. Adam retraces our steps and finds it. The Celtics pics will be posted soon when I create a Celtics page.
Back to a real casino. Thank goodness for cocktail waitresses. Adam takes a liking to our waitress, and wants to get me the same costume.
We have dinner at Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris. I spent forever fixing my hair and make-up only to melt on our way there. You can be outside in Vegas for less than five minutes and be in a dead sweat.
Adam was taking a nap before we went to dinner and can't seem to wake up.
Next we head over to topless showgirls at Jubilee and miraculously he wakes right up.
